ABOUT FLORENCE

Stichting Zorggroep Florence offers, with more than 4,000 employees and 1,500 volunteers, home care, care for homes for the elderly and care for nursing homes, child and adolescent health care, advice and service in Delft, Den Haag, Leidschendam-Voorburg, Rijswijk, Voorschoten and Wassenaar.


THE CHALLENGE

At Florence, part of the employees work at clients’ homes and not at the office. Florence needed to enlarge the effectivity of these colleagues, the connectivity with each other and with the organization. To realize this, an online platform is created, where the employees can work together and communicate with each other. Despite time and place and, because employees with different levels of IT-skills will have to work with it, it will also have to be easy accessible and user friendly.


OUR SOLUTION

Rapid Circle implemented a social intranet for Florence, based on Microsoft Office 365. With this intranet, intra- and extramural employees can work together, communicate with each other and they will always have their work virtual on them.

Office 365 is a platform that works in the cloud. Florence doesn’t need to be busy with IT and they pay per employee, per month.


THE RESULTS

With the social and digital workplace, employees are able to do their work better. People are more involved, have more information, like protocols, at hand, can tune in quicker, can assign work everywhere and always and they have access to other applications, via Office 365.
